The Anatomy and Physiology module in the Yoga Teacher Training Program provides a foundational understanding of the human body and its connection to yoga practice. This module explores the skeletal, muscular, respiratory, nervous, and circulatory systems, with a focus on how movement, breath, and asana impact overall health and well-being. Through an applied approach, you will learn biomechanics, alignment principles, and injury prevention strategies to enhance both personal practice and teaching. Muscular System: Key muscle groups, engagement, and flexibility in asanas.

Respiratory System: Breath mechanics, muscles that affect breathing, involuntary vs voluntary breath, how air enters and leaves body. diaphragmatic breathing, and pranayama effects.

Nervous System: Parasympathetic vs. sympathetic activation, stress response, relaxation, vagal theory and overall mind-body connection.

Spinal Health & Alignment: Posture, common misalignments, and injury prevention.
