Meditation

The Meditation Module is a point of emphasis in the True Nature YTT program. While most yoga teacher trainings barely
scratch the surface of meditation, we take a deep dive into the theory, science and practice of meditation with 3x daily meditation sessions throughout the duration of the program. You will learn how to bring mindfulness practice to everyday life and how to guide group meditation sessions and facilitate open discussions. The Meditation Module is designed to cultivate inner awareness, mental clarity, and a deeper connection to the self. Meditation is a fundamental aspect of yoga that goes
beyond physical practice, helping to calm the mind, enhance focus, and promote emotional well-being. In this module,
Trainees will explore:
- Foundations of Meditation: History, philosophy, and purpose of meditation in yoga.
- Techniques & amp; Practices: Breath awareness, mantras, mudras, chanting, mindfulness, guided visualization, and silent meditation.
- The Science of Meditation: Understanding its effects on the nervous system, brainand overall health.
- Developing a Personal Practice: Establishing consistency and overcoming common challenges.
- Teaching Meditation: Guiding students effectively, creating a safe and supportive space.
This module empowers trainees to integrate meditation into their own lives and
confidently lead others in their journey toward inner peace and self-awareness.
