Asana (Poses)

This program is a multi-style 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in which you will get exposure to a variety of yoga styles and methods. Our main focus is to provide students with a fully comprehensive understanding of dynamic Vinyasa and the more grounding Hatha Yoga styles. Students will also get the opportunity to practice and explore Yin, restorative and therapeutic yoga and more.
The Asana Module is a core component of the True Nature Yoga Teacher Training Program, focusing on the practice, alignment, benefits, and teaching methodologies of yoga postures. Rooted in the ancient tradition of Yoga, asanas are not just physical exercises, but a means to cultivate strength, flexibility, balance, and inner awareness.
In this module, students will explore:
- Fundamental Asanas: Standing, seated, backbends, forward bends, twists, arm balance,
inversions, hip openers, supine poses, sun salutations an more
- Alignment & Adjustments: Proper body alignment and posture techniques to enhance
safety and effectiveness.
- Modifications & Props: Adapting poses for different body types and levels.
- Benefits & Contraindications: Understanding the physical and energetic effects of
each asana.
- Sequencing & Teaching Cues: Learning to structure a balanced yoga class.
This module lays the foundation for confident, safe, and effective teaching, while
deepening personal practice and embodiment of yogic principles.
