yoga retreat thailand - Workshop.jpg

Our yoga Philosophy modules are practical, insightful and applicable to modern day life. Through lectures, discussions and practical exercises. We will look at the philosophy behind the practice by studying the main philosophical schools that have shaped yoga over the course of its existence and explore how these philosophies are still very relevant in living a life
of balance, intention and contentment.

The Yoga and Buddhist Philosophy module explores the philosophical foundations
that shape yoga and Buddhist traditions. This module delves into key yogic texts such as the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and the Bhagavad Gita, alongside core Buddhist teachings on mindfulness, impermanence, and the nature of suffering. Through
comparative study and practical application, you will discover how these philosophies complement each other, offering profound insights into self-awareness, meditation, and ethical living. This module encourages deep reflection, guiding you to integrate these timeless teachings into both personal practice and teaching methodology.

In this module, trainees will explore:

• History of yoga and Buddhism in ancient India, and during the Vedic, Upanishadic,
classical and modern periods.
